Orkney has a wealth of established cultural resources in its museums and archives. We have cultivated strong links with the organisations that manage them and have built up a knowledge of these resources. Whilst connecting with local archives is at the core of our projects, we also think it is important to create future material for them, and many of our projects have since become part of the local archive.
