We are both engaged in teaching and training at levels from introductory workshops up to Masters level. We offer training and skills in heritage capture and interpretation techniques including:

  • gathering material
  • cataloguing
  • photography
  • audio recording and interview techniques
  • filmmaking
  • film editing
  • exhibitions and events
  • wordpress site creation

Some of the projects involving training have included Listening to the Piers; Stromness HometownHoy Kirk Heritage Centre; Investigations of a Hogboon Mound; and Wilder Being.

Rebecca and Mark both work at Orkney UHI as tutors. Rebecca delivers the photography modules for NC Porfolio and BA Hons Fine Art.

Rebecca has delivered support for local festivals through networking and training seminars and co-ordinated network and training opportunities in her earlier work for Engage Scotland.

Mark supports ongoing training in cinema exhibition with West Side Cinema.
