Hoy Kirk Heritage Centre, at Hoy Kirk, is a popular community run venue hosting a seasonal events programme and permanent and changing exhibitions exploring local heritage. The community bought the building after it ceased to be a church. Rebecca works as Hoy heritage officer at Hoy Kirk supporting the community in programming and delivering events and workshops and was in post during the establishment of the Hoy Archive, an ongoing project to digitise and disseminate images of Hoy.
The centre serves a small island parish of around 30 inhabitants in the north end of Hoy and the large numbers of visitors to the island. The website was developed by Rebecca.
